2. Andy is leading a Men's weekend in Wycliffe , co. durham on the weekend March 12 - 14th. 2010[close to Scotch Corner] We've done a similar weekend last year with our Northumberland men's group - this one can be intense and a bit emotional but is brilliant and worth it. Cost is not much, accommodation is comfortable and cosy. This is not specifically for our Men's Group - there's guys going from Saltburn, but they'd prefer others along so if you are interested you are welcome.
3. Northumberland men's Weekend at Hamsterley, Co Durham - weekend 23 - 25th April. We try to do two weekends per year like this where we can spend more time together walking in the woods, drumming, talking and going to the pub. It will be quite laid back and we may even watch Match of the Day and the Football League Show if like me you support the Toon.. Again, accommodation is cosy, this time a cottage in Hamsterley and the cost will be for food only and donation towards the bills(£20 max all in). let us know if you interested.
4. Mens Rites Of Passage, Perth(Scotland), July 26 - 30th, 2010. This is the biggy! gut wrenching, tear jerking, chest pounding and drum thumping manliness. Also on the website check out Marty's testimony of his Rites of Passage.
SORRY, THIS IS A LOT TO THINK ABOUT BUT WE THOUGHT TO LET YOU KNOW EARLY BECAUSE LIVES ARE BUSY AND HECTIC AND YOU HAVE TIME TO DECIDE WHETHER TO DO NONE, SOME OR ALL.
HERE ARE SOME OPTIONS:
- If you would like to go to a weekend(either no 2 or 3) to dip your feet in with a view to doing the Rites, then great!
- If you would love to do the rites(no 4) but cannot commit yet or just can't do them dates then a weekend(2 or 3) would be great
- If you can only do one thing and feel ready to dive in, get on the www.malespirituality.co.uk/rites webpage and go splash
Forward this info to guys who may be interested
