We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month either in Paulton, or Farington Gurney ( just off the A37 south of Bristol)
Meeting Format
We start we drumming as a way to arrive, followed by a silence We then have a sharing circle, using a talking stick. This means just one man is talking at once (when he has the stick) and everyone else is listening. It allows a difference quality of sharing than our normal modes of discussion.
We then have a short talk from one of our group who has prepared something related to mens work. We are using 'Wild Men to Wise Men' as a basis for this.
We then have a short period of silence to finish.

Rites Of Passage
Gentleman, let me introduce myself. My name is Jason and I went through a period recently that gave me cause to look at myself. From this period I realised that I was lacking in certain male traits, Lacking in Leadership and heavily lacking in masculinity or the ability to speak my mind and asking for what I want/need. I was the common go to person, the nice guy. I came from a divorced family and was brought up by my mother, great job that she did, I didn't really help me.
